W.I.S.H. Society
With the help of our supporters, Make-A-Wish Central & Western North Carolina has been transforming lives and making wishes possible since 1985.
Part of our chapter’s rich history includes a group of dynamic and inspiring women that is comprised of wish granters, wish moms, and professional women who believe that every child deserves a childhood filled with hope and joy. These women have been championing our wish kids for nearly 10 years and have been an integral part in making our mission known.
Now, we’re eager to open this group to even more people who strive to make a difference in our community. Formerly known as the Women Inspiring Strength and Hope (W.I.S.H.) Society, we are revising the group to be WE Inspire Strength and Hope. In our goal to be diverse and inclusive, and to mirror the families we serve, our new W.I.S.H. Society is an opportunity for ALL supporters, regardless of gender, to join a giving society and combine their personal contributions to grant more life-changing wishes in our community.
Community
W.I.S.H. Society members gather for quarterly social events and wish volunteering to connect with like-minded donors who share a passion for philanthropy and creating a lasting impact in Central and Western North Carolina.
People like you are joining this community to network, volunteer, and help change the lives of kids battling critical illnesses across the region.
Giving Levels
By personally giving at one of the levels below, you too can join this group of donors on their mission to help transform the lives of even more children. Your membership at each level can be paid in quarterly or annual installments and includes the following benefits:
